About Me

My name is Malin Kivity, and I was born to heal.
At the age of 3, my grandmother, Rut, told me that one day I would help people heal from various traumas. I've always had a deep love for movement and have explored it in all forms. During high school, I began feeling overwhelmed by life, and that's when I stumbled upon my first yoga class. Without fully understanding what yoga was, I began to explore. The slow, flowy movements allowed me to really connect with my body and breath, stretch from my toes to my fingertips, and eventually land on the floor in complete peace. It was the beginning of the most important journey of my life—the journey of self-healing and self-love.

Today, I know that I am my best healer, but I wouldn't be where I am without all the amazing teachers, professors, healers, helpers, friends, patients, and people I’ve met, and continue to meet, along the way. I am forever grateful.

After graduating from the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm in 2013, I followed my (and my grandmother's) dream and spent 10 years at a rehabilitation center, working with a wonderful team to help people regain their lives after various traumas. This place became my second home and a space where I grew both as a physiotherapist and as a human being. During these years, I deepened my knowledge in neurological and orthopedic rehabilitation. I also had the opportunity to further my studies in neurology, respiratory therapy, and pelvic floor therapy, applying this knowledge in the clinic where I worked and in other parts of the world. After 10 meaningful years in clinic and research, I felt ready to complete my master’s degree, presenting a systematic review on the value of yoga in rehabilitation. I am forever grateful for this time and for everyone I had the privilege of sharing it with.

Three years ago, I met the love of my life on a beach in Tel Aviv. Two years ago, after welcoming our son into the world, I decided to leave my home in Sweden and open the doors to a new life in Israel. It’s been quite a journey, but I feel incredibly happy and ready to share my knowledge and spirit, opening those doors for people in need of healing.

With love,
Malin
