About Me

My name is Malin Kivity and I was born to heal. At the age of 3 my grandmother Rut told me that I one day will be helping people to heal from different traumas. I always loved movements and have explored them in all forms. In the middle of high school, I started to feel overwhelmed from life and I bumped into my first class of yoga. Without any understanding for what it really was I started to explore. Slow, flowy movements where I could really feel my body and my breath, stretch my body from toe to fingertips, and land on the floor in full peace. It was the beginning of the most important journey of my life. My journey of self-healing and self love. Today I know that I am my best healer, but I wouldn’t be here without all the amazing teachers, professors, gurus, healers, helpers, friends, patients and people I met, and still meet on the way. I am forever grateful.

After graduating from the medical institute Karolinska in Stockholm, 2013, I entered my (and granny's) dream and spent 10 years in a centre of rehabilitation working in a beautiful team helping people to come back to life after different traumas. This place became my second home and a place where I got to grow a lot as a physiotherapist as well as a human being. During those years I deepened my knowledges in the fields of neurological and orthopaedic rehabilitation. I had the chance to continue my studies in the field of neurology, respiratory and pelvic floor therapy implementing it all in both the clinic where I worked and in other places of the world. After 10 meaningful years in clinic and research I was ready to complete my master degree presenting a systematic review about the values of yoga in rehabilitation. I am forever grateful for this time and everyone I got to share it with.

Three years ago I met the love of my life on a beach in Tel Aviv and two years ago after welcoming our son to this world, I decided to leave my home in Sweden and open the doors to a new home and life in Israel. It has been quite a change, and quite a journey, but I feel so happy and ready to share my knowledge and spirit, and to open those doors for people in need of healing.

With love, Malin
